Mm. Yes, I guess you'll do... As wizards, our best friend is our book of spells, without it, we are nothing. Not all humans can use magic, you know. You have to be gifted in such an art. We have natural magic, at times things may happen in certain instances. We do not hold the same powers as a necromancer, we are, in fact, two very different things. Ross is my brother, if you must know. He probably didn't tell you that. Anyway, if I am needed, I will be here. Remember to study and practice hard.

Alex had been thinking about whether or not he wanted to become a human. He would age again, but he wouldn't be able to fly. He wouldn't have to starve himself because of not eat humans, but Dawn would probably want to kill him. Then he thought about Yvonne and how if he were human things could be different, but he wouldn't be able to protect her if he was human. He found himself lerking around a castle. It was the same castle he had been guarding as a gargoyle centuries ago. 'Maybe they'll remember me,'he thought. "Hello?" he asked hoping one of the wizard's that he knew would answer.

"Who dares..." bellowed Tristan putting his staff to the ground, creating a loud crack to ring throughout the castle, "Disturb my home?" he asked staring down at the intruder. "What business do you have here...gargoyle?" he asked.

"Tristan, buddy, you don't remember me?" he asked with a fake hurt look with turned into a smirk. "I just need to know if you have a spell that can make it so that I can go out in daylight without turning into stone..that and age." he said more serious now.

Tristan held out his hand to silence him. "You shall not address me in such an informal manner." He turned and motioned for him to follow, he spoke as they walked along the corridoe, "To not turn into to stone, and age... why in the world would you want to age?" she sighed, "Do you have any idea how many things I've tried not to age?"

"There is someone..I have in mind. If I want to have a chance with her, then I need to be able to age from now on, like a normal human. I'll still be a gargoyle I know that, but to age and go out in the sunlight is my only wish." he replied. "I'll do anything you want."

Cayleigh glanced around, trying to find this Tristan guy. Supposedly, he should be able to tell her about this book that only she could read. Sure, Cayleigh knew she was a witch, but it just would be much easier if she had more... information.
She saw a powerful-looking guy and some other guy. Cayleigh figured the omnipotent guy was Tristan, but he was busy helping the other guy.
Slowly, Cayleigh slid down the wall she was leaning on and decided to wait.

Tristan felt the presence of the other, but he didn't worry about her at the moment. He hummed for a moment. "And who is this other? I can't think of anyone who truly ages normally, unless it's a necromancer, or perhaps a witch." He shook his head. "Being eternally youthful is a gift that should not be wasted. You are unwise to ask for such a thing."

"This other is a human girl. I realise how foolish I am to ask of this, but if you can at least make it so I can go out in sunlight.." he said almost desperately which was rare of him.

"A human? Ha!" he laughed, "In my opinion just let her die, she will eventually anyway. DOn't put that terrible burdon apon yourself." He sighed through his laughter. The want to go out in daylight is common though. It usually ends up killing gargoyles though. I haven't perfected the elixir just yet. Letting them stay normal in daylight keeps them from sleeping. With no sleep...you won't last too long. On the other hand, at times the magic just wears off completely, and you'll be turning back into stone in no time. Tell me boy, do you really want to take those chances...for a human, or all things?"

"She's important to me, and if I can stay out in the daylight, then I'll be able to protect her more from that psycho siren or anyother threat." he replied. 'I should probably ask about my bloodlust lately......' he thought.

Tristan laughed, "A siren eh?" he asked and laughed again, "That shouldn't be too much of a problem for you too handle...unless she's experienced." He shook his head, dismissing memories. "I can make a potion for you...but you have to understand. You're taking a chance of 25%. One you will be able to stay awake during the day, and sleep as you wish. Two, It will do absolutely nothing to you. Three, it'll only last for a short while, and fourth, you will not sleep, nor will you turn to stone. And will eventually die. Is it still your request?" he asked seriously.

"I'm already dying. The fact that I have been ignoring my feeding urges is causing me to starve myself. And this stupid bloodlust randomly popping up out of no where is also killing me. I'll take the potion." he said in a serious tone.

"That's only hunger, bloodlust is somethign different. You acquire it after being a gargoyle for a certain amount of time...and comes around every year...as about this time." said Tristan, hoping he'd get the idea.

After a few more ingrdients and the last making a small explosion in the beaker. He picked it up and glanced at the murky liquid. He nodded approvingly. And began walking away. He motioned Alex to follow.
