"Now," said Tristan leading him out to the garden It was filled with all flowers from all over the world. They were beautiful and fully in bloom, "This is wear many go wrong. YOu must choose what flower best represents you. And it has to be the closest there is, or the results can be as I said they'd be." he said. He set the the potion on the bench and sat down. "Take as long as you need, and I'll be here waiting for you."

He looked at all the flowers. 'A flower that best represents me.' he thought. When he thought about himself, he often thought sorrow and hatred towards himself but when he thought of who he was around his friends, he thought of love, happyness and affection. He stopped when he saw a Marigold flower. It was a beautiful oranger and red color. He smiled when he thought of the meaning. 'A merigold...has meanings of sorrow and love, like a mix.' he thought. He pointed to the Merigold. "This one." he said confidentely.

Tristan looked at the flower, "Now, before you are so sure...remember, that representation is not in the eye of the beholder, but in that of their heart." he said. Then held up the potion beaker, "If that is your choice, put it in by your hand."

He picked up the flower and looked at it. If he doubted it, then he'd be doubting himself. Putting the flower in the potion beaker confidently. he stepped back and waited to see what would happen.

A yellow stream floated out from the beaker. Tristan looked at it curiously and then sighed taking out a cup. He poured it in, and held it out to him, "Now, it's all up to you."

"Thanks a million, bud- I mean sir Tristen your lordship~" he said cheerfully taking the cup and pouring the potion into a vial that he closed with a cap and safely put it away. "I owe ya big time." he said before running out of the castle.

Tristan shook his head disdainfully as he watched the gargoyle go. "Such silly beings..." he muttered walking back into the castle. He eyed the young witch over towards the entrance. He bowed slighty, "Thank you for your patience." he said.

Cayleigh stared at her feet. "Um, actually, I was just wondering... what is going on with me? I was given a book that only I can understand and I have come to the obvious conclusion that I am a witch... but I don't exactly know what that entails. And... I was wondering if you could... enlighten me, perhaps," Cayleigh stated, trying to use her words carefully.

Tristan nodded slowly and motioned for her to follow as he started walking down the grand hall, "Beings a magician grants us great power, straight from the universe itself. Whatever way you choose to use it is by your own doing, though it seems you aren't a necromancer... As you get older and more experienced, you will be able to perform more spells and also in an easier manner."

"Ah. That would explain much, considering it takes me much time and concentration to perform even the simplest of spells. But... what exactly is our purpose? I mean... oh, I don't know how to explain it..." Cayleigh muttered, completely in monotone.

"Your purpose is your own," he said taking a budded flower from a vase and holding it out to her, it bloomed beautifully, "Sometime the one that blooms late, is the most beautiful of all."

He nodded, "Very much so. But their talents lie in reanimating the dead. Their armies of the undead could conquer the world if they worked together." he said mildly, "And yet they are still talented magiciians, just not as dedicated as we wizards and witches are."

Cayleigh nodded slowly, digesting all he told her. "How does one... become a necromancer? And if the can control the dead to raise an army, why haven't they done it already?"

"Like I said, if they worked together, they would. Also they tend to die out before actually being able to raise an army. Raising the undead is very stressful, makes them weak, and prone to many things. If you ever meet a necromancer that lived past 60 it is quite a rare site indeed," he overcame with a hard expression, thinking about Ross and how he wanted to shove his staff up his-- "Becoming a necromancer comes naturally. When they start their spells, it usually makes dead flowers come to life, etc. etc."
