*Giggle* As sprites, we are of but one element, and have similar features to a certain small animal. Such as a frog, a lunar moth, or a rat. You never know what we may look like.
Our other name is pixie. And therefor the term "pixie dust" no, it doesn't make you fly silly, it puts them to sleep!
Like out close relatives, the fairies, we can turn human for a short amount of time. We will eventually unexpectedly turn back to our original shape and size. We have a variety of powers, depending on what kind of sprite we are.
