Alexander wandered back into the living room. 'Even more people!? Sheesh..' he thought suddenly becoming a bit annoyed. Still he wouldn't shove anyone out. He looked over at the shapeshifter after hearing him say his name. "I'm Alexander." he answered to the shapeshifter and waved to him in acknowledgment.

Yvonne stilled stared at the shape shifter...for some reason, she was always expecting something a bit more...who knows. Exciting? She never expected for them to appear like such a normal human...

Dantae could sense the disappointment emitting from the human girl. He frowned. He didn't know what she was expecting. When he was in human form he looked just like a human. Which was kind of the point.
He did not know why, but he wanted the girl to like him. Not love him, but accept him. He wanted her to accept him like she did the gargoyle and the sphinx.
"What were you expecting?" he asked Yvonne, "I can tell you're slightly disappointed. You expected shape shifters to be more exciting."

Dantae smiled, blushing a little. As a shifter he wasn't used to being in the spotlight. His kind usually faded into the background.
"It's ok.I'm pretty new at the whole shape shifting thing. I can only turn into three other things besides a human right now. But a true master can turn into anything."

"Well yes, but one time I was picked up by a little girl who kept me as a pet for a week." he shuddered, "I couldn't change shapes because she wouldn't let me leave her site. Finally I got away.... That pet store rabbit food is aweful. Don't buy it for rabbits."
