"You may reek now to a gargoyle, but you're still beautiful even with dirt~" he said.

Days later, Dawn had returned to her graveyard. How they managed to keep the human girl hidden was beyong her. And now she was filfthly aggrivated. She let out an annoyed sigh as she turned human for the night.

Alexander had returned to the graveyard a while after he had taken Yvonne back to the clocktower. He was hoping that Dawn would be out feeding and that the graveyard would be empty so that he could retrieve some old items of his. Stealthily making his way towards one of the stone pedistols, he changed into his gargoyle form. His skin a dark black and blue hair running down his back as he dug his sharp claws into the ground to dig for a small chest that held old treasures from centuries ago. When he finally pulled it up, he wagged his long tail as if her were a dog about to get a treat.

Dawn slammed the chestdown on his fingers, sitting on it she grabbed his horns and brought him up to her face, "Tell me where you met Victor."

"I need to know...." she said, venom dripping from every word. She began twisting his horns.

His tail whipped around as he tried holding in the pain. "The Slave-trade!" he gave in. "He was trying to sell Yvonne and Tybalt!"

"Slave trade?!" cried Dawn furiously, throwing him down to the ground, "What in the world did he want that petty girl and puny bird for slave traffiing? They're not worth a 0-cass power put together!"

He groaned as he hit the ground. Turning onto his side he tried to get up, digging his claws into the ground. "Why do you care!?"

"Why shouldn't I!?" She growled, "You're mine! I own you, if it weren't for me you'd still be scavaging with the low lifes."

"What benefit do you get from owning me?" he asked trying to raise his voice but it was becoming difficult.

Dawn laughed, "You don't know the underworld of magic yet, you're not nearly old enough..."

"U-underworld of magic?" he muttered with confusion as his gargoyle form receded leaving his human form visible and scratched up.
"What does it have to do with anything? And exactly how old must I be to know of it?" he retorted.

"Only those of us that have the power shall it remain said," said Dawn, glaring daggers at him. She turned, sitting on the box with her leg showing.

"Well whatever this 'thing' that I know nothing about is, find some other gargoyle to be your slave. I'm not going to be your pet Dawn." he said strongly and forced himself to stand.

She took his face in her hands, "Oh you mistake yourself, you already patronized your enslavement when you agreed to accept my help so many years ago," She dug her nails into his neck, "And now all this rebellion because of a pathetic human girl? Evil is in her heart, she's turning you from me. I can offer...so much more."

He winced and grabbed her hand with his to stop her from digging her nails into his neck. "I was foolish to ever ask for your help! If I had known this would be the result of it, I would have never accepted your help!" he retorted and continued. "She's not evil either. If anything is evil, it's you. There is nothing you can offer me!"
